The Bookworm found another good book!

Read Stella Stands Alone by A. LaFaye!  Such a brave girl who stands up for herself and fights back!  Very independent.  Story takes place in the South during the time slavery was ending.  Stella treats slaves as friends and works to improve their lives as well as her own.
